Assistant Instructor (NRC.0V)

The goal of this program is to educate circus arts assistant instructors. These assistant instructors will be qualified to provide an initiation to various circus disciplines in the context of recreational activity.

Circus arts assistant instructors are able to find employment in many areas. These include: schools devoted to circus arts as recreational activity, municipal recreational facilities, day or vacation camps, or resorts that offer leisure activities. Instructors may also be called upon to animate after-school programs in educational facilities.

Upon graduating from the School, assistant instructors may further their professional development by enrolling in the Instructor (AEC-NRC.08) or in the Trainer in Circus Arts programs (AEC-NCR.09), receiving credit for the first 2 courses.

This training is only available in French.

The program requires 180 hours (120 course hours and 60 in work internship), which are offered full-time over one semester.
